The Verdict

On paper the two trade blows: AirPods Pro 3 lasts longer per charge with ANC on (8 hours vs Galaxy Buds4 Pro's 6), but Galaxy Buds4 Pro's total case-extended battery is higher (26 hours vs 24) and its published codec list (SSC-UHQ, AAC, SBC, LC3) is more transparent than Apple's, which doesn't publish codec names for AirPods at all.

For calls, independent testing breaks the tie: in RecordingNow's wireless ANC earbuds roundup, AirPods Pro 3 won Best Microphone Quality outright — “the ‘Voice Isolation’ feature powered by AI on the AirPods Pro 3 is the best wireless earbud microphone I've tested to date” — with Galaxy Buds4 Pro a runner-up in the same category. The same roundup called Galaxy Buds4 Pro the closest thing to an AirPods Pro 3 replacement for anyone off iOS: “If it weren't for not having any native iOS app support, the Samsung Galaxy Buds 4 Pro would actually be the closest thing to an AirPods Pro 3 replacement.”

Both are officially ₱14,990 in the Philippines. If you're on iPhone, the ecosystem lock-in and mic edge make AirPods Pro 3 the easy pick. If you're on Android — or want Auracast and a fuller published codec spec sheet — Galaxy Buds4 Pro is the equal-money alternative, not a compromise.
